New Fitness Center Hours

New Expanded Fitness Center Hours

We are excited to announce new expanded hours at the Fitness Center!

Effective October 5, 2026, the Fitness Center is now open from 6:00am-9:00pm Monday-Thursday, giving patrons a chance to use the facilities early in the morning! Our Friday hours are now 6:00am-2:00pm, and we currently remained closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

These new operating hours provide more opportunities for the community to enjoy and utilize our fitness facilities. While you're there, check out some of our brand-new equipment and our newly redesigned Functional Fitness Zone!

Public Notice: Election Materials Available

Eligible residents of the Oakbrook Terrace Park District interested in running in the April 6, 2027 election for the office of a Park Commissioner of Oakbrook Terrace Park District may obtain nomination petitions and election materials Monday through Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, at the Oakbrook Terrace Park District, 1S325 Ardmore Ave, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181. The first day to begin circulating petitions is August 25, 2026. Candidate petitions will be accepted beginning November 16, 2026 through November 23, 2026 from 8:30am-5:00pm.

Playtime Pals

Playtime Pals: $5 Fridays

Playtime Pals is back! Our Group Exercise Studio is open to little ones ages 1-5 with an adult every Friday from 9:00am-12:00pm. We'll have mats, tunnels, slides, and more for a fun and active way to spend the morning! 

Playtime Pals is only $5 per child (adults are free). Please note, the Group Exercise Studio is on the second floor and does not have elevator access.

OBTPD Wins IPRA Outstanding Program Award

The Oakbrook Terrace Park District is pleased to announce its Animal Care Assistant Mentoring Program (ACAMP) was selected as the winner of the 2026 Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA) Outstanding Program Award (Division I). The Park District’s award was recently announced at the Illinois Association of Park Districts (IAPD)/IPRA Annual Conference in Chicago.

Evening Guest Pass

$5 Evening Guest Pass

Interested in checking out our Fitness Center? Looking for a convenient way to get a workout in after work? We now offer a $5 evening guest pass available Monday-Thursday from 5:00-9:00pm! This provides non-members a way to explore our facilities and see if a membership is a good fit. We have a full cardio and weight room, racquetball courts, a gymnasium, and more!

The Fitness Center is located in the office building at 1 Parkview Plaza in Oakbrook Terrace. Just park in the free parking garage to enter.

Coming Soon! New Fitness Center Hours

We are excited to announce new Fitness Center hours coming soon! Starting September 2, 2025, the Fitness Center will be open 11:00am-9:00-pm Monday-Thursday. Our hours will remain 8:00am-4:00pm on Fridays. These new operating hours will provide more opportunities for the community to enjoy and utilize our fitness facilities.

Pickleball

Pickleball FREE for Fitness Center Members

Pickleball is now FREE for Fitness Center members! Grab a friend to drop in and play on our indoor courts. It's a great way to stay active and have fun during the winter months!

Stop by to play anytime during open Fitness Center hours (please call beforehand to ensure gymnasium availability).

All equipment is included! Non-members can play for just $5 for up to two hours of play. No registration required; just stop in and sign a waiver before playing. Call the Fitness Center at 630-574-0420 with any questions!

Rhythm & Rhyme

Join staff from the Villa Park Public Library for a story time on the road! Each month will feature stories, music, and movement.
