Parking Information
Our small lot fills up quickly. Parking along the west side of the access drive from Hodges Rd. is allowed but please keep close to the curb to keep the drive open. No parking along east side of access drive or parking area. Street parking is not allowed on Hodges Rd. but additional parking is available around the corner on Monterey Ave. Be sure to keep your tires on the gravel as the police will ticket if they are touching the grass.
For large groups, parking is available in the lower level of the 1 Parkview Plaza building near the Oakbrook Terrace Park District Fitness Center. The entrance is on 22nd street (same light as REI). Jog to the right as you enter and go down the ramp. Access to Terrace View Park and the Nature Center is through the Fitness Center or a door near the baseball field.
Please Note: The Lake View Nature Center cannot accept injured animals, as it does not have the required permits. For assistance with a wild animal in need of care, please contact the Willowbrook Wildlife Center at 630-942-6200.
