2's and 3's is an introduction to preschool. An introduction to colors, shapes, numbers, letters and the classroom routine is taught. Your child learns through crafts, songs, story time and free exploration. This transitional class teaches how to play with others, and follow directions as well as develop independence and confidence necessary to be successful in preschool. If your child is 2 or 3 but has missed the January 1st cutoff, this is the perfect class for you. A properly labeled healthy snack and drink should be provided daily. The teachers are not expected to do diaper changes; if your child needs a diaper change, the parent/guardian is contacted.
