Free to resident youths 15 and under. Call Fitness Center for availability.
Youth Karate
Respect, discipline and self confidence are three of life's greatest tools and they are easier to say than to achieve...until now! Join instructors: 3rd Degree Black Belt, Mrs. Mary Treacy; and 1st Degree Black Belt Ms. Pamela Russell from Eagle Academy of Martial Arts. Typical workouts include kicking, punching, and practical self-defense skills that are tailored to individual abilities. Uniforms and belt ranking are optional.

Youth Cardio with Luanne Pope
OBT Group Fitness Coordinator
Cardio activity aids in the promotion of a stronger heart, which in turn helps increase oxygen intake, which helps the body decrese body fat. Your child will participate in choreographed movements that are fun and simple to follow while receiving the benefits of cardiovscular activity.

Youth Hatha Yoga with Marian Williams
This youth oriented program will focus on stretching the mind and body. Stretching helps promote body flexibility. Your son or daughter will have fun posing like familiar animals while learning the basics to yoga.

Youth Nutrition with Olga Kras RD/LD
Nutritionist/Dietitian
If you ever wanted your child to eat healthy, while improving your family meals, then this is your chance! Nutrition science can be confusing with no help from the food industry and media. This 3 week program is designed to help parents and children address such issues as meal planning, excessive body weight, peer pressure, eating out, school lunches, eating disorders, body image, sports nutrition, and more. The registered ditetitian will provide a venue for the whole family to explore their present eating behaviors and practices in an interactive and fun atmosphere. Through the hands-on exercises you and your child will discover that eating healthy is easy and delicious! Children are guaranteed to have a great time!

Youth Strength Training
Join this basic strength training class that will teach your child how to strengthen the major muscle groups of the body. Students will be taught the importance of being and staying fit utilizing the four components of fitness, Nutrition, Cardio, Flexibility and Strength.
