Oakbrook Terrace Park district community senior Citizens Club

The OBT Senior Club meets the second Monday of each month year-round at the Brandywine Club House. Every gathering has something fun – either a guest speaker, entertainment, a party or a special trip. Anyone is welcome to join at anytime. If you have any questions or are interested in joining, please call (630) 627-6100.

And the beat goes on with this safe, fun and effective senior workout taught by Darlene Galgan. This program incorporates the fi tness components of cardiovascular conditioning, muscle strength, endurance and fl exibility. Warm-up exercise is chair-based and utilizes resistance training equipment. Rhythmic standing exercise follows along with low-impact aerobics providing an energizing format that appeals to both men and women.

1st Annual Senior Spelling Bee

Seniors, come test your spelling skills at the Oakbrook Terrace
Park District’s 1st Annual Senior Spelling Bee! Participants will participate in a single elimination, traditional Spelling Bee. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 spellers and a light lunch will be served to all!

Afternoon Barbershop Chorus

Have a passion for singing? The Afternoon Barbershop Chorus meets every Tuesday afternoon at the park district’s Heritage Center in the Mario Parente Theater. The Chorus is managed by Jules Kastens and is always looking for new members. Please call Jules at (847) 259-7359 or the park district at (630) 627-6100 if interested in joining the group or for information.
